Poster presentation guidelines

Posters can be presented in two ways:

  • In person: attend and present your printed poster at the conference
  • Online: Upload your poster PDF via the upload tool.

Printed posters will be on display during the whole conference.

Uploaded content will be available for on-demand viewing for online attendees during the conference.

Format:

The maximum and recommended poster size is DIN A0 portrait (Width 84 cm, Height 119 cm).

Make sure to use fonts and font sizes which are easily readable. Minimum font size for body text should be 20 pt.

Uploading your poster:

We ask all authors (on-site and online) to upload their posters prior to the conference to ensure that all attendees can attend the poster sessions, either in person at the conference center or online via link with access to all posters.

The submission form is available here.

The deadline for submitting your poster file is Monday, July 4, 2022.

In-person poster presentation:

Bring the printed poster to the conference center.

The presenter of the poster is required to stand by the poster during their entire poster session (as stated in the individual conference program) to answer questions.

Paper numbers will be placed on the poster boards.

Find your paper number and put up your printed poster in the designated space. We ask all on-site participants to set up their posters until Monday, July 11 before lunch break and keep them there until the end of the conference.

Push pins, tape or similar will be provided to hang your poster.

Abandoned posters will not be saved after the conference.

Online participants to poster session:

For online presenters:

If you are an online attendee presenting a poster, we ask you to upload your poster via the submission tool before the deadline. Only in this case we can print your poster and put it up at the conference center.

Online poster contributions will be marked with a note for attendees in the conference center. Questions on the poster can then be asked via email or other communication channels of your choice. Please make sure to list your contact details on the poster.

For online attendees:

If you are an online attendee, you will get access to on-demand viewing of the posters via link. This link will be sent out via email before the start of the first poster session. To discuss the posters, use the contact info that is listed by the authors on their respective poster.
